With our van service, it's not just a vehicle that arrives: a 20 m³ truck and 2 experienced movers come, who carry your belongings down and up, secure them in the cargo area and transport them with insurance.
Within Budapest there is no call-out fee and no mileage charge, from HUF 54,000. We come on weekdays, at weekends and in the evening; we agree the time by phone or via the quote request form.
All prices shown are net amounts and do not include VAT at the applicable rate.
Van with a driver or van with movers?
Most van services mean one vehicle and one driver. If your belongings have to be carried down from the third floor and up to the fourth, that is not enough. This is where we are different:

For one or two light items on the ground floor, a van with a driver may be cheaper. If there is carrying or stairs involved, or the furniture is valuable, the option with movers is the safer choice.

What do we transport with our van service?
- Single pieces of furniture: sofa, wardrobe, bed, desk, from one home to another.
- Household appliances: we transport fridges upright and washing machines secured.
- Furniture bought in a store: from IKEA, JYSK or another store, see store home delivery.
- Studio, rented flat, student move: a few pieces of furniture and boxes, see small moves.
- Removing unwanted items: if things don't go to a new place but need to be taken away, our junk removal.
We cannot transport hazardous materials (gas cylinders, paint, thinner).
How much does a van service cost in Budapest?
The 20 m³ truck + 2 movers package is HUF 18,000 base fee + HUF 18,000/hour. The minimum charge is the base fee plus 2 hours, i.e. HUF 54,000, which is usually enough for one or two pieces of furniture or a studio flat within Budapest. There is no call-out fee in Budapest and no mileage charge.
For a simple, easy-to-assess job we can also give a fixed price in advance. Outside Budapest: countryside moving, full price list: moving prices.
When can you come?
We do jobs on weekdays, at weekends and in the evening. Our van service is usually booked a few days in advance; if it's urgent, call us and we'll check whether a vehicle and crew are available for the same or the next day.
What do we ask when you book our van service?
- What needs to be moved: number of items, size of the largest item (e.g. three-seater sofa, two-door fridge).
- From where to where: the two addresses, floor, whether there is a lift and how big it is.
- Parking: whether the truck can stop in front of the building, and whether a vehicle access permit is needed.
- Date: which day, morning, afternoon or evening.
From this we can give you an exact price and time.
Did the other company cancel at the last minute?
Sometimes a mover cancels the job on the morning of the agreed day. In that case, call us: in an emergency we may have a free truck and crew for the same or the next day, and we will tell you straight away on the phone. We work evenings and weekends too.

Yes. We transport from Budapest to the rest of Hungary and from the rest of Hungary to Budapest; in this case we give a price based on the distance.
