When the furniture does not fit in the lift or cannot be turned in the stairwell: a large wall unit, sofa, piano, safe, or anything that cannot be dismantled. At the survey we check the size of the window or balcony and the space in front of the building, because the hoist is set up next to the truck.
How does a move with a furniture hoist work?
We secure the furniture with blankets and straps, the movers protect the window and its frame, and one colleague directs from above, another from below. After the survey, the written quote states whether a furniture hoist is needed. We provide it in Budapest and the agglomeration, as part of a move or as a separate job, with full liability insurance.
