How does a move back from abroad work?
Step 1
We agree the details by phone or email: where from, how many belongings, and where in Hungary. We handle everything in Hungarian and English.
Step 2
We book a date for the pick-up at the address abroad.
Step 3
We pack on site, with boxing on request.
Step 4
The truck transports your belongings to Hungary.
Step 5
We unload and set up at the new address in Hungary.
How long does it take for the truck to get home?
The exact travel time depends on the distance. For shorter distances within the EU, transport can usually be completed within one or two days.
How much does moving back home cost?
The price depends on the distance and the quantity to be transported. We give a free quote once we have agreed the details.
We do not only transport complete households: we also bring a few pieces of furniture or boxes if our destination is on the way. If the new home is not ready yet, furniture storage is also available until the final arrangements are sorted out.

Moving back home from Germany, Austria, England and the Netherlands
We move back to Hungary from any country of the European Union, as well as from Switzerland and Norway. During our international moves we have already brought home household contents from addresses in Germany, Austria, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Within the EU there is no customs clearance. For moves back home from Great Britain, Switzerland or Norway we do not handle the customs clearance; the customer arranges it, but we help with advice. It is worth booking the pick-up 1.5–2 weeks in advance; on shorter routes within the EU the transport typically takes one or two days.
What determines the price of moving back to Hungary?
For a move back home we give a fixed price based on distance, route and volume, in writing after we have discussed it. We also bring back part loads – a few pieces of furniture or boxes – when it is on our way, so you don't have to pay for a whole truck; if your new home is not ready yet, we provide interim furniture storage.
