Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

The purpose of this notice is to describe how HERKULES-TRANS Freight Transport Limited Partnership (hereinafter: Data Controller) processes personal data when the herkulestrans.hu website (hereinafter: Website) is used, in particular when filling out the quote request form - for what purpose and on what legal basis - and what rights the data subjects have. In processing the personal data of natural persons, the Data Controller acts in accordance with the applicable legislation in force at all times, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter: GDPR).

3. Processing of Data from the Quote Request Form

When you fill out the quote request form on the Website, we ask you for the following data:

  • name
  • phone number
  • email address
  • the exact pickup address
  • the exact drop-off address
  • the expected date of transport/moving
  • other information about the property being moved and the amount of furniture

Purpose of data processing: to respond to your quote request, to prepare an individual quote for the requested transport/moving service, and - if you order the service - to prepare and perform the contract.

Legal basis for data processing: your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (given by submitting the form), or, where the inquiry is made in preparation for entering into a contract, the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

Who has access to the data: only Erno Bodor and his wife have access to inquiries received through the form, and they respond to inquiries on behalf of the Data Controller.

Storage, deletion: the Data Controller does not store the received data in a separate database or register; it exists only as part of the given email exchange. If that email exchange is deleted, the personal data contained in it is also permanently deleted.

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place in connection with the above data processing.

4. Cookies and Tracking Codes

The Website runs Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tracking codes, which the Data Controller uses to measure Website traffic and advertising effectiveness. The placement of the related cookies and the management of consent is handled by the Website’s Complianz cookie consent system. 5. Data Processors, Other Data Controllers

The Website hosting is provided by ELIN.hu Kft. (9024 Gyor, Dery T. u. 11.) as the hosting provider. The tracking codes used on the Website (Google Tag Manager, Google Ads) are operated by Google Ireland Limited, which processes the data it collects according to its own privacy policy; further information can be found in the Cookie Policy .

6. Data Transfer

The Data Controller does not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area, except for the Google-operated services mentioned above via cookies, whose data transfer practices are described in Google’s own privacy notices.

7. Rights of the Data Subject

You have the following rights: the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time - the latter not affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out based on consent before its withdrawal.

8. Legal Remedy

If you believe the Data Controller has violated the legal provisions governing the processing of your personal data, you may file a complaint with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):

9. Amendment of This Notice
