Thanks to its proximity, Austria is our simplest international destination: Vienna approx. 245 km, Graz approx. 300 km and Linz approx. 430 km from Budapest, all usually reachable within 1 day, so loading and unloading can often be done on the same day. We deliver door to door, a complete household or just part of it, from Hungary to Austria and from Austria to Hungary alike. The price is a fixed fee, given in writing after the free survey, and it does not change at the end of the job.

What do we offer between Austria and Hungary?
- Complete apartment or house moves, with loading and unloading and furniture assembly.
- Part loads: from 1 piece of furniture to the complete contents of a rented flat, if on our route.
- Moving home from Austria: we load at your address abroad and unload at your new address in Hungary.
- Packing on request: boxes against a deposit, bubble wrap and corrugated cardboard; fragile items are packed separately and furniture is secured in the cargo hold.
- Interim storage if your new home is not ready yet.
How much does moving to Austria cost?
We quote a fixed price that depends on the distance, the route and the quantity to be moved: an address in Vienna and one in Innsbruck do not cost the same. The survey is in person in Budapest and its immediate surroundings and by video call elsewhere; both are free. We send the quote in writing and the price does not change at the end of the job. For international moves we ask for the deposit specified in the quote, paid by bank transfer. We do not give a general “from” price, because no two moves are the same.

How long does a move to Austria take?
Vienna, Graz and Linz can usually be reached within a day, so loading and unloading often happen on the same day. For more distant destinations, transport within the European Union usually takes 1–2 days. For moving home it is advisable to book 1.5–2 weeks in advance.

Is customs clearance required?
No. Austria is a member of the European Union, so personal belongings are not subject to customs procedures or duties.
Insurance and administration
We work with full liability insurance, on international moves too. On the Austrian side, parking or access permits are the customer’s responsibility; we help with advice. We handle everything in Hungarian and English.
